Alfie was rescued by Emma as a puppy when he needed life saving heart surgery. Nobody has told him he has a serious heart condition and he is living life to the full. He really enjoys flyball and competes in Starters Competitions. Alfie and Emma are part of a new Flyball team set up in the North East of England called the Karma Kanines Flyball Club. They are a supportive community group which includes children and many happy dogs. They are registered with the BFA (British Flyball Association). Their first tournaments will be when the new summer season starts at Easter 2011 and they will be competing in tournaments all over the UK.

We will let you know how they get on.
Harringtons are delighted to be adding Comebyanaway Border Collies to their long term sponsorship deal. Comebyanaway is a small private kennel based in the North of England established 10 years ago. The Comebyanaway dogs have had phenomenal success in Dog Agility - winning or being represented at every single National or major agility final in the UK (including Crufts, Olympia, Team GB tryouts, UKA Nationals), as well as representing Great Britain twice - plus wins in both single and brace Sheepdog Trialling as well as wins in YKC Obedience at Crufts. The Comebyanaway motto is "Quality not Quantity", with litters only being born every 18 months and with a long waiting list.
We are proud to be supplying the all-important first solid puppy food for the current litter from Red and Will, the pups will be going to owners who compete in Agility including a double FCi World Team Gold Champion, an individual bronze and silver FCi World Medallist and several very successful Advanced Agility Champion handlers.
The Comebyanaway breeders lifestyle revolves around dogs, as well as general and sheep dog training they hold weekly agility classes in their 120 foot long Indoor Agility Arena.
They also have two award winning multi dog friendly holiday cottages which make an ideal rural getaway. The dogs have also appeared on cards, clothing, magazines and calendars and have even done tv commercials and appeared in various TV programmes.
(Red, mother of the pups -is currently appearing on CBBC "Who Let the dogs Out" which was filmed back in May).
We wish the current pups and the Comebyanaway dogs every success in the future and look forward to working with them.
